Intermediate or Advanced Obedience

Teach your dog to respond to go find an object or person, come when called when faced with an array of distractions, heel on and off the leash even with other dogs around, as well as learn new tricks. Rally Obedience
Rally obedience (also known as Rally or Rally-O) is a dog sport based on obedience. Unlike competitive obedience, the dog and handler team proceeds around a course of designated stations with the dog in heel position. The course consists of 10 to 20 signs that instruct the team what to do. Unlike formal obedience, handlers are allowed to encourage their dogs during the course. Hot Diggity Dogs teaches this course in indoor and outdoor settings.

Clicker Training
Clicker (or marker) training is the use of a reward marker. This is very simple: just say the word or make a click (with a clicker) and give your dog a treat within a second of the desired behaviour. Your reward marker and treats can resolve many common behavioural problems. We will show you how to apply this method of training for everyday, real-life situations as well as for training obedience and tricks. We focus on capturing, luring then rewarding your dog’s correct behaviour(s).
