dog’s first walk can be a pretty frustrating experience. You
put your dog on the leash and head out the door for a pleasant stroll.
But as soon as your dog hits the sidewalk, he starts yanking on

Dogs are forward-moving animals: if you allow them
to pull you down the street, they will. In order to have an enjoyable
walk together you will need commitment and patience.
When walking your tugging dog, stop whenever there
is any tension on the leash, and wait until the dog looks back to

leadership.
Seize the moment and take a step back; the dog
will come back to you. As the dog comes back in your direction,

attention, and when he looks at you, praise him.
