Puppy Socialization Training
Our
puppy socialization training classes run for six sessions and we have clients
coming from all over the lower mainland to join our fun filled classes!
The goal is to prevent unwanted behaviours such as jumping up, mouthing,
digging, barking, biting and chewing. We also create boundaries
for acceptable behaviour by teaching basic commands like sit and
come. You can join the
puppy socialization training at any time; class meets every Saturday,
at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
It is critical that your puppy learn how to socialize & develop
bite inhibition.
We want your puppy socialization training to learn while he still has tiny, sharp, puppy
teeth and the jaw is not fully developed yet. Your puppies hormones
start to shift at approximately the 18 week mark and other dogs
will have less tolerance for puppies with no manners.
Puppies that get an opportunity to play with each other at the
critical imprinting period time between 11-20 weeks, tend to play
better as an adult dog and have more confidence and less aggression.
