Since 1999 Hot Diggity Dogs has been honored to share life's experiences with some Amazing and Wonderful dogs. We formed unique, personal and strong bonds with them all and cherished every moment that we had.

This is a tribute to some of our friends that have passed. I invite you to take a moment and remember them.

Luke was such a happy character, he loved puppies and tossing bones in the hallway. We will all miss him-1991-2007

Kailey
Dec 95 - May 13th 2006

This was Donna's wonderful dog Kailey that she got from the SPCA 10 years ago. "I loved Kailey with all of my heart and soul and will miss her forever. She taught me everything that I know about dogs and had such a strong spirit that will never forget. Rest with out pain my love. I will see you again at the bridge".

Ginger — poisoned — 7 months

Cameron — Loved tuna, sweet dog — 10 years

Fergus — very loving dog — 14 years

Snoopy— Snored like crazy! — 10 years

Robbie — aka: Bob Barker, Rockin Rob
and Scooter very lively boy — 15 years

Nessie — a real character, lots of life.
Sadly gave into her epileptic seizures— 9 years

Tango — truly amazing dog.

Daisy — a true character.

WILL THERE BE DOGS IN HEAVEN?

"Will there be dogs in heaven?"

Their pup was struck by an auto
And they watched him breathe his last.
Will there be dogs in heaven?
Just ask old Saint Bernard.
Without his friend in that mountain pass
The going would be hard.
Will there be dogs in heaven?
Saint Francis thought there should.
That wolf he fed at Gubbio
Was just misunderstood.

Just ask that thin blue line.
They won't go into danger
Without their partners from K-9.
Will there be dogs in heaven?
How many gave their all
Trying to save their masters' lives
And answered duty's call.
Your pup will run out to greet you
When you're at the Pearly Gates.
So make sure you get to heaven
For it's there your doggie waits.

PAW PRINTS IN MY HEART

You came to me when I knew no love And engraved your paw prints in my heart. You left me later for the skies above And made me wish we didn't part. You taught me happiness was a treasure When I was really down You taught me joy and pleasure And erased all my frowns, You went away to help another and left me a memory. You flew beyond with a flutter, And became a history. You went through the gates, To a special Rainbow Sky You went there through three life giving fates, Who gave you the wings to fly I envision you in the misty seas, Where we used to play. I imagine us in the gallant breeze, Beneath warm golden rays. I made a sacrifice that I thought you'd need, I let you reach beyond. I knew your soul would pay me heed, And continue our precious bond. I know your wings of translucent white Will brush away my tears, And in your highest height, Watch as my sight then clears. We were happy before you left And we are still today, Since after heaven committed its theft You enlighten my paths and ways. A DOG'S PRAYER

Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside, for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements. And I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land, for you are my god and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the great Master see fit to deprive me of my health, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest--and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.
