Sadly, we have lost
many of our fur babies over the years and we have dedicated
a page to those who have passed over to the Rainbow Bridge in
ourmemorial
page.
Need to leave your dog alone at home?
You
probably know the feeling of looking into your dog's mournful eyes
as you close the front door, assuring her or him that you won't
be gone long.
The truth is, dogs usually don't mind being
left on their own for a little while. Make sure your dog has had
a bathroom break beforehand. Keep a bowl of fresh water handy so
your dog can have a drink.
And leave a favourite toy with your dog
but not something that he or she can choke on.
Shutting your dog inside all day isn't a
good idea, and it isn't healthy for your dog. But if your dog misbehaves
even if you've only been gone for an hour or two, then you'll need
to consider some training solutions. Ask your vet, your trainer
or me about options.
